It always seems that artists are made to look to be having a non-chalant and edgy mentality that you will feel they won’t need a proper logo that suits or won’t want a poster that could override the contents or the artist him/herself and believe in themselves and their art more than any other things.
I am very delighted to share with you the works of Julia Hasting, a design director of Phaidon Press since 2007 where the books that she has designed can be called an art on its own.
Perhaps you would like to judge for yourself how important branding is for artists. Is having a good design that important? To me, they could be more than just an expression of your passions through your art, and for finding those who will share the same passions.
