The history of birthday cakes goes all the way back to the Ancient Romans era. The evolution of the cakes followed the growth of confectionery advancement and society’s evolution.
About 10 years ago, customization was limited to having our favourite cartoon heroes illustrated on the cakes. Recently, I chance upon this cake shop which brought cake customisation to another level.
One cannot help but notice how much our society has become more brand eccentric. I can’t decide if that’s a good or bad thing. You think?
