There’s hardly any thing new these days in art. Anything and everything have been done before somehow. But Dalton Ghetti just surpised me this week with this piece of work where interestingly, the drawing tool turns into a prop itself.
How patient must a person be, to spend two-and-a half years painstakingly crafting each handmade piece on the graphite of a pencil. The fact that these microscopic works are so vulnerable, it could break at any stages makes me wonder how Dalton persevered over 25 years.
What is even more fascinating about these tiny works of art is that he has never sold them, only given away to friends as gifts.
